On Wednesday, Chapman’s office was processing about 59,000 ballots, with the majority of those being received when drop boxes closed Tuesday night.

Chapman said she was unsure when her office would issue its final update on results, since election officials were still verifying signatures on the 33,000 ballots received from drop boxes on election night.
