(Jeran Farley) Jeran Farley, urban and community forestry program manager for the state, measured Big Tree, the massive ponderosa pine near Beaver, Utah, in 2019. The tree suffered burns over 95% of its length in the Cottonwood Fire, a U.S. Forest Service ranger said.
