Looking for Utah-Florida football tickets? Here’s how much they’ll cost you

The lowest prices are standing room only tickets.

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) Members of the Muss celebrate as the Utah Utes pull ahead of the Stanford Cardinals, 42-7,in the 4th quarter, in PAC-12 football action at Rice-Eccles Stadium, on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022.

The Utah football team is about two weeks away from its 2023 season opener against the Florida Gators.

The Utes will be looking for a different outcome than last year’s season-opening loss in Gainesville. Utah fans, meanwhile, will simply be looking for a seat.

The Utes have sold out every game dating back to the 2010 season opener. So Utah fans hoping to snag a ticket to the Aug. 31 game may have to pay more money than they expected.

Tickets went on sale to the general public on Tuesday and quickly sold out, leaving only resale options.

The lowest price for a single ticket is $175, according to websites Utah Tickets, SeatGeek and StubHub. And those tickets are generally standing room only. The lowest price for an actual seat is $202 through StubHub.

If you want to get close — and maybe even hang around the 50-yard line — that could cost you $1,000 or more.

The Utes are ranked No. 14 in the AP’s preseason poll. Coach Kyle Whittingham and his squad have their eyes on a third-straight Pac-12 championship, and perhaps the school’s first trip to the College Football Playoff.
