Letter: A complete failure of leadership
(Alex Brandon | AP file photo) President Donald Trump listens to a question as he speaks about the coronavirus in the James Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House, Wednesday, April 8, 2020, in Washington.
Did anyone really think the POTUS would rise to the occasion during this unprecedented pandemic with a modicum of humanity?
His hubris, greed, denials and dangerous delays in preparing our country in advance have resulted in a complete leadership failure. Hearing him spew nonsense during his press conferences — aka mini-Trump rallies offering false facts and lies — I am more convinced he is truly evil, devoid of a heart and soul. All he can give us is more reckless impulses costing hundreds of American lives daily.
Trump’s lack of mental, emotional intelligence, compassion and decent leadership is demoralizing.
