Feldman’s Deli, which has been inundated with customers recently after being recognized by the Michelin Guide in August, will be closed Friday and Saturday, according to an Instagram post.
“You sold us out!” the post said. “Our pastrami and corned beef delivery is running behind, and we won’t have enough to keep up with the demand this weekend.”
“We could bring in something else, but we’d rather close than compromise on quality,” the post continued.
The deli is known for its Jewish comfort food, including sandwiches like corned beef Reubens and the signature double-decker Sloppy Joe, made with corned beef, pastrami, Thousand Island dressing and coleslaw on Jewish rye.
Feldman’s Deli imports all of its meats, as well as babka, black and white cookies, and cheesecake from New York City.
