From the stadium to a ski resort, there’s a Utah football watch party for everyone this weekend

Not going to the Swamp? Here is where Utes (and Gators) fans can watch the opening game of the 2022 season.

The Utah Utes football season is finally here.

Fans in the Beehive State and elsewhere finally get to see what their No. 7 Utes are made of, and it starts Saturday with a humdinger of a matchup against the Florida Gators in Gainesville, Fla.

There will be a large contingent of Utes fans traveling to Florida for the big game. But for those who aren’t and who are looking for a community atmosphere, here are five places in Salt Lake City hosting watch parties.

Rice-Eccles Stadium at Ken Garff Scholarship Club

Where: 451 1400 East, Salt Lake City

When: 4 p.m.-9 p.m.

Cost: Free for Scholarship Club members, $15 for Crimson Club Members, $25 for non-members

Details: Events includes dinner buffet, charge bar, field level photo opportunities and live entertainment. Free parking in the West Stadium Parking Lot.

Solitude Village, Last Chance Lodge

Where: 12000 Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Solitude

When: 5 p.m.-9 p.m.

Cost: Free

Details: There will be lawn games

The Break Sports Grille (Organized by Ute Fan Faithful Group)

Where: 3396 Decker Lake Dr, West Valley City

When: 5 p.m.

Cost: Free

Details: Drink and food specials

Gracie’s
