Dear Utah Republicans:
In a state where voters often vote for an entire party slate, Republicans who dislike the Trump agenda need to be clear about what they may be doing if they vote for Republican congressional candidates in the coming midterms.
Since all of our current GOP representatives vote overwhelmingly for the Trump agenda, you would probably be voting to continue Trump’s goals, which include eliminating our democracy and altering our long-term alliances.
If there was ever a time when a Republican should cross over and vote for a Democrat in Congress, it is now! Retaining our democracy and our current allies should take precedent over all other considerations.
