Letter: With Trump on board, maybe the U.N. escalator was onto something

I caught a snippet of a story on KUER about the escalator at the U.N. and how it stopped just as President Trump and the first lady stepped onto it.

The escalator expert featured in the story described that escalators don’t stop unless it is to avert a disaster.

Hmmm. Somehow the escalator knew about the disastrous speech Trump was about to present to the members of the U.N. and tried to intervene?
