Letter: Constant negativity is hurting this country

(Alex Brandon | AP) President Donald Trump steps away from the lectern in the James Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House, Friday, April 24, 2020, in Washington.

As I read the comments in The Salt Lake Tribune, it amazes me that nobody can see any positive results being done by our president during this crisis. Everyone loves to criticize and bash him and express their negativity, but in order to get this country back on its feet, people and the news media need to start putting a positive spin on this situation and encourage, not continually discourage everyone that we are doomed to fail.

Constant negativity instead of a positive outlook is what is destroying this country, and nothing else.

A little bit of hope is better than no hope at all. So if any of you critics out there have a better solution to the current situation, do us all a favor and either put up or shut up.
