Letter: Tribune cuts are disappointing and frustrating

(Trent Nelson | The Salt Lake Tribune) Paul Huntsman, owner of The Salt Lake Tribune, addresses staff members, Tuesday May 8, 2018.

I am a long-term subscriber to The Tribune. I read The Tribune every morning and I depend upon it for my local news. I feel disappointed and frustrated that the Tribune management has cut down the size of the paper and laid off so many wonderful staff members.

The paper has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. Pretty soon the content will be so reduced that I will likely end my subscription. It appears that management is working towards ending the print edition. Please remember that many people still prefer the print version of the paper. The Tribune is a very important voice in Utah. I truly hope that it can build itself back up to the paper it once was.
