Music performances, animal races and stunt shows were some of the headliners for opening weekend at the Utah State Fair.
The fair kicked off on Thursday and will run through Sunday, Sept. 17 at the Utah State Fairpark. Tickets for the fair are available at utahstatefair.com, but tickets for events in the Days of ‘47 Arena require a separate admission.

Events at the fair’s Days of 47′ Arena include the following:
Utah’s Own PRCA Rodeo: Friday, Sept. 8, through Sunday, Sept. 10.
Steve Miller Band on Sept. 12.
The “’80s Rock Invasion,” featuring Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Great White, Slaughter, Quiet Riot and Vixen, on Sept. 13.
Country singer Lee Brice on Sept. 14.
Rappers Yung Gravy and bbno$ on Sept. 15.
