A missing 13-year-old girl from Roosevelt was found “in good health,” police announced Thursday evening.

The teenager was found in Cheyenne, Wyo., on Thursday afternoon in the back of a semitruck being driven by a 25-year-old Florida man, the Roosevelt City Police Department said.

Authorities obtained information about the man and his approximate location using cellphone data and communication apps, they said. Police said the two had been communicating for about a month using Oculus, a virtual-reality Meta program.

The girl was found within an hour of the suspect’s identification.

A police investigation is currently underway.
