A 12-year-old boy died in Utah County on Saturday after being hit by equipment his father was driving.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office identified the child Sunday as George Dunbar Oldham of Palmyra, a town located west of Spanish Fork.
The boy and his brother were riding bikes in a field while their father drove a side-by-side towing a trailer, according to the sheriff’s department. The boy fell off his bike and was hit by the father’s equipment which caused serious head injuries.
Emergency responders came to the scene, but the boy died.
