There’s something about hearing live music outdoors — listening to the music waft up to the sky, as the sun sets and the positive vibes take hold to the point where you don’t mind the mosquitos finding you in the twilight.
Utah’s major outdoor venues — Red Butte Garden, Sandy Amphitheater, Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, Snow Park Amphitheatre at Deer Valley, and others — have scheduled strong slates of live music this summer. There also are shows and music festivals at Rice-Eccles Stadium, Library Square, Gallivan Center, the Utah State Fairpark and other venues.
If you want to stay indoors to enjoy music, Maverik Center, Eccles Theater and other halls have shows that promise to be entertaining.
Here’s a rundown, by venue, of more than 170 major concerts scheduled to play along the Wasatch Front — and a few other places — into the early fall.
