Ace Bailey has signed his rookie contract with the Utah Jazz.

Bailey’s pre-draft process sparked a number of rumors about his interest in coming to Utah when the Jazz took him with the fifth overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft.

But the 18-year-old wing has quickly put those rumors and concerns to rest in his first days in the state.

Bailey is a talented scorer who has impressed Jazz coaches early in summer league practices this week.

At Rutgers last year, Bailey averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Walter Clayton Jr., the No. 18 overall pick in the draft, also signed his contract, the Jazz announced Wednesday.
