The first annual Salt City Wine & Dine event will take place on August 27th at the stunning La Caille estate. This is your chance to sample a variety of food from over 35 local eateries and enjoy a variety of wines from various wineries, including those made on La Caille grounds. There will also be live music performed by Chris Clouse, singer, songwriter and former competition fiddler, and Blaine Long, who you might recognize from The Voice, Season 11. In addition to the musical acts, feast your eyes on the magic of Rodney Reyes and the live painting created at the venue that will be auctioned off at the event.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to wine and dine your way through the weekend!

Get Your VIP on

As a VIP Attendee at Salt City Wine & Dine, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a tour of the winery, Château La Caille Wines, the estate’s vineyard planted in 1986 with Seyval Blanc, led by the winemaker himself, Mike Marron. You’ll get to see first-hand how their wine is made and maybe even ask a few questions along the way. The unique flavor profiles of wine produced by grapes grown at an elevation of 5,350 feet in soil composed of glacial deposits are not to be missed by wine lovers.

Alternatively, VIP guests could enjoy a food and wine pairing featuring La Caille wines expertly paired with dishes by executive chef Billy Sotelo. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget! As a VIP you’ll have access to all the other amazing food and wine/spirits vendors onsite beginning at 4 pm, which is an hour earlier than the General Admission attendees. In addition, as a VIP, you will also have access to the grounds and the wine and food tasting or wine tour, at 3 pm.

Bundle Your Tickets With The Wine Dinner Series

Leading up to the event, La Caille will be hosting a Wine Dinner Series as a special add-on to purchase with your main event ticket; the first of two will take place on June 23. Enjoy four courses of hand-selected dishes by chef Sotelo and sous chef Justin Nelson, perfectly paired by winemaker Mike Marron. Menu items include sous vide octopus bruschetta, paired with La Caille Enchante and black truffle gnocchi paired with a glass of Chateau La Caille Pinot Noir. This add-on experience has limited tickets, so don’t sleep on it.

“All the changes and new things happening at La Caille will be highlighted in this event,” said Nelson. “We are working on a new lounge and La Caille is evolving. Couple that with the food, you will see newer items you don’t typically see here.”

Purchase your tickets now (this event will sell out) and mark your calendars for one of the most unique events in Utah. Some of the best food, wine and beverages are waiting to be tried within breathtaking views!
