I keep waiting for new op-eds from James Dabakis and Kem Gardner encouraging all those Democrats and unaffiliated voters who registered as Republicans (so they could vote in the Republican primary) to now switch to the Democratic Party and vote for Chris Peterson for governor in November. After all, we now have the Republican nominee Cox who is refusing to schedule a debate with Peterson, and there are folks pushing for a write-in campaign for Jon Huntsman who memorably campaigned in Cache Valley without wearing a mask a few days before being diagnosed with COVID-19. Huntsman’s running mate, Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi, vetoed the Provo City Council’s mask mandate.
Really, the silence is deafening.
