Letter: Impressed by our public servants

(Alex Brandon | AP file photo) Former White House national security aide Fiona Hill arrives to testify before the House Intelligence Committee on Capitol Hill in Washington, Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, during a public impeachment hearing of President Donald Trump's efforts to tie U.S. aid for Ukraine to investigations of his political opponents.

I have been watching the televised impeachment hearings when possible. I am impressed with the professional demeanor of our public servants in the diplomatic corps. The people being questioned have quite obviously high regard for our country and our Constitution.

I am saddened that I do not see that same professionalism and regard for our Constitution in the words tweeted out by the president of the United States.
