Letter: Bring back the MLB box scores

Why did you guys delete the box scores for Major League Baseball from your sports section?

I, like many of my friends, like to follow how other teams players are doing and your little one-paragraph summaries fall way short of telling the whole story.

Whoever is in charge must not be a baseball fan. Please bring the box scores for Major League Baseball back.

I don’t like threats, but it is 95% of the reason I continue to subscribe to your paper.

sltrib.com is now free to access — no subscription required. We made this decision because we believe access to trustworthy, independent news shouldn’t depend on what you can afford — especially as misinformation and AI-generated content continue to rise.

Free to read doesn’t mean free to produce. Our reporters show up every day to ask hard questions and hold powerful institutions to account. That work takes resources.
