Letter: Can Trump really ‘relate’?
(Evan Vucci | The Associated Press) President Donald Trump speaks about American missile defense doctrine, Thursday, Jan 17, 2019, at the Pentagon.
If President Donald Trump really thinks he can "relate" to those hurting because of the government shutdown, he should try standing in line at a food pantry for his family's food, taking his son from school because he can't pay tuition or turning off the heat in the White House residence. Then we could see how patient he would be placed in the circumstances where he has left 800,000 others.
