Letter: It’s not your color, Rep. Love, it’s your votes

(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Mia Love, Representative for Utah's 4th Congressional District, addresses the delegates at the Utah Republican Nominating Convention Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Maverik Center.

I am writing to the Public Forum with the hope that someone on Rep. Mia Love’s staff will relay my message, as she seems to be afraid to receive constituent input through public meetings.

My message to Love is: "Don’t insult me. My failure to support you is not because you are a black, female Republican. It is because of your policy positions and votes in the United States Congress. If you want more detail about what I don’t like about those positions and votes, you could have a town hall and let me and others share our opinions and concerns.”
