Letter: Utah’s 4th District candidates’ ads show them both to be lacking

(Tribune file photos) Mia Love, left, and Ben McAdams, right, historically have both used orange in their campaigns.

Very sad seeing the poor quality of TV political ads in the 4th Congressional District ads.

Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams taking a shower with his clothes on trying to clean off all the political corruption and saying “I’m not for Nancy [Pelosi] to be speaker”? The guy worked for the Clintons, so a shower is not going to convince us.

The next TV spot is a sad commentary showing Rep. Mia Love taking major credit for Josh Holt being rescued from Venezuela. She was not the major player in that, so the spot is just very sad and does not make her look good at all.

Based on what I see on TV, I don’t see voting for either one. Very sad, as I would like to like one of them.

Richard Lamb, Sandy
