Letter: How far down on the Lord’s priority list is family separation?
(Courtesy The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) President Russell M. Nelson speaks to Latter-day Saints in Hamilton, Ontario, Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018.
I am comforted to know that the Lord has communications and PR issues for his church at the top of the priority list.
It’s not often that something is of such import that he causes the issue to be impressed so specifically upon the mind of his prophet. I am curious, though, if the Lord’s priority list includes speaking out against the immorality of separating families at our southern border. I am guessing it does not rank at all, since his prophet has been quite mum on that topic.
Since the Lord is focused on PR at the moment, perhaps the “Families Can Be Together Forever” slogan needs a usage clarification as well.
