Letter: We can’t afford to support all these illegal immigrants

(AP Photo | Tim Ireland) Protestors holding banners gather after a march opposed to the visit of U.S. President Donald Trump in Trafalgar Square in London, Friday, July 13, 2018. Trump's pomp-filled welcome to Britain was overshadowed Friday by an explosive interview in which he blasted Prime Minister Theresa May, blamed London's mayor for terror attacks against the city and argued that Europe was "losing its culture" because of immigration. It's amazing how many people think we can open our doors to all peoples of the world without any regard for America's way of life.

It may surprise most people to know that we are supporting those entering America illegally, and we will be supporting those people for the next three to five years. America cannot support the large number of people who are forcing themselves on us.

The average American is not making enough money to support these people. According to the Associated Press, Americans are leaving their current jobs because they are confident that they can find a job that will pay them a better wages. Americans need to be earning and keeping more of the money they earn, not paying higher taxes so we can support the huge number of illegal immigrants entering our country.

Everyone is screaming for more money for our schools. Our taxes are sky high now so we can hire more teachers to help the children of illegal immigrants living in our country and build more schools. There has to be a limit to this insanity. We must be reasonable. Support those we can and turn away the others. We have to feed and support our families first.
