All dressed up in pink and sequins with nowhere to go? The Salt Lake Tribune compiled a list of where you can celebrate the opening of the new “Barbie” movie this weekend.

1. A ‘pink’ block party at The Gateway

The Gateway, the Women-Owned Small Business Collective, Urban Art Gallery, Party USA and Megaplex Theaters have partnered up to put on a “pink” block party at 136 S. Rio Grande Street.

Music, activities and photo-ops will be available from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. There’s also an outfit contest — so be sure to wear your Barbie best.

2. Utah Reproductive Roundtable’s Community Care Block Party

The Utah Reproductive Roundtable is hosting its second annual Community Care Block Party on Friday, and it’s themed Barbie pink this year. The roundtable includes the American Civil Liberties Union of Utah and the Planned Parenthood Association of Utah.

The free event at Jordan Park includes activities like skating, food trucks, live performances and dancing. “When focusing on community care, it is important that we experience joy and laughter,” an event description states.

The event will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday at Jordan Park. RSVP here.
