Police are investigating an overnight shooting early Friday in Millcreek that left an 18-year-old dead and a 19-year-old critically wounded.

According to Unified police, two groups of people arrived at the 7-Eleven at 4051. S. State St. in multiple vehicles.

Surveillance cameras showed some sort of dispute, which ended in gunfire shortly before 12:30 a.m. Police believe two or more people fired guns.

When officers arrived, they found the 19-year-old in the parking lot. He was taken to a hospital.

Police learned that the 18-year-old — later identified as Talib Ahmed — had been shot and was driven to a hospital by other people at the scene. He later died.

No information about the 19-year-old has been released, and no arrests have been made, according to police.
