Abducted West Jordan baby is found

5-month-old is safe, and her mother is in custody.

A child who was abducted on Thursday has been found unharmed.

According to West Jordan police, 5-month-old Nora Nelson has been reunited with her family. And her abductor, Yorbalinda Vargas, has been “taken safely into custody without incident.”

Vargas is believed to have taken the child from her home at 8:17 p.m. on Thursday. According to police, Vargas, the child’s mother, drove away with her during an unsupervised visit.
