The Davis County Sheriff’s Office canceled an Amber Alert for a 2½-week-old boy that was issued Wednesday afternoon.
Police tweeted Wednesday night that “Baby Boy Torres ... was found in Salt Lake County” on Wednesday evening. “Thank you to everyone for sharing the information and providing tips/leads.”
On Wednesday afternoon, police issued the alert as they searched for Maria Ann Torres, 36, the boy’s biological mother who did not have legal custody of him. Torres and her son were located at a home in Salt Lake City.
