People in Utah hate their jobs. People in Utah love their jobs.

Both of those statements are true, according to a compilation of Twitter data released Wednesday by by the job-referral website Cultivated Culture.

The site found Twitter posts over the last month where people said they either loved or hated their jobs. The posts that were geotagged — that means they could be traced to a location — were counted, and top 10 lists made of states where people loved and hated their jobs.

Utah came in sixth on the list of states where people said they hated their jobs, but came in second on the list of states where people said they loved their jobs. Only Utah and Alaska made both lists.

The good news is that the site found 30,000 tweets of people loving their jobs, and only 11,000 tweets from people who hate their jobs — though fear of being found out by one’s employer could depress the hater count.
