Hit-and-run crash kills one, injures two others in Logan

One person is dead and two others are in the hospital after a crash in Logan on Monday night.

Police are investigating how the crash happened at the intersection of 400 South and 100 West, and they believe a truck driver had been speeding down the 25 mph road, according to Logan Capt. Tyson Budge.

One of the cars involved in the crash ended up half a block down 100 West, Budge said.

Two people ran from the truck. Police have one of them in custody and are searching for the other, he said.
