Ogden’s 2nd District courthouse resumed operations Thursday after a morning bomb threat prompted evacuations.

The threat was called into the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, which evacuated the courthouse by 9:37 a.m., according to tweets from court officials.

But by noon, following a law enforcement sweep of the building, the threat was deemed not credible.

Grant Avenue in Ogden was temporarily closed from 25th Street to 26th Street during the search, police said.
