Two new national bagel shops are coming to Utah

Two national bagel chains are opening their first Utah locations.

Jeff’s Bagel Run is opening a location in the View 72 shopping center in Midvale, at 744 W. Blue Vista Lane, by the end of the year, a news release said.

The bagel chain is known for its scratch-made bagels, made fresh in the shop daily, along with its whipped spreads and craft beverages, the release said.

Also opening in Utah is PopUp Bagels, which is coming to 4835 S. Highland Drive in Holladay, next door to Magnolia Bakery.

PopUp Bagels, which started in Connecticut, is known for its bagels served whole (no sandwiches), ready to “grip, rip and dip.” The company hasn’t released an opening date for the location.

Jeff’s Bagel Run — which started in Florida — plans to open 15 new locations across Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties, the news release said.
