After much social media buzz, Magnolia Bakery is finally set to open its doors in Utah.

On Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m., the new location of Magnolia Bakery in Holladay Hills at 1895 E. Rodeo Walk Drive, Suite B101, will open to the public, according to an email from a company spokesperson.

The New York bakery announced last summer that it was opening up franchise opportunities, and Holladay was the company’s first domestic franchise location, the email said.

A second location is planned for Salt Lake City’s Foothill Village this fall, according to the Magnolia Bakery website.

Magnolia Bakery has a cult following ever since its cupcakes were immortalized in “Sex and the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada.”

The bakery is known for its banana pudding, cookies, pies and other treats.

The company has 10 locations in New York City, and one each in West Hollywood and the Chicago loop. According to its website, Magnolia Bakery also has international locations in India, Kuwait, the Philippines, Qatar, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates.
