The creator of the acclaimed TV series “Succession” has announced his next project — and it’s filming in Utah.

Writer-director Jesse Armstrong will make his feature directing debut with a movie for HBO set in the world of high finance, which will start filming this month in Park City, the network announced Tuesday.

The movie’s title is being kept under wraps, as is a clear description of what it’s about. The only information HBO released is a logline: “A group of billionaire friends get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis.”

HBO also announced some of the cast: Steve Carell (“The Office”), Jason Schwartzman (“Rushmore”), Cory Michael Smith (who played Chevy Chase in “Saturday Night”) and Ramy Youssef (“Poor Things”).

The movie is set for a spring release, HBO said, suggesting a quick turnaround time.

Armstrong is best known as the showrunner and creator of “Succession,” HBO’s much-lauded series about a media mogul and the backstabbing done by his children and other potential heirs to his business empire. Armstrong won eight Emmys for producing and writing the show.
