Comedy at Delta Center

Bill Burr has been performing standup for 30 years, but it’s been in the last few years his brand of what Rolling Stone called “rage-fueled humor” has connected with arena-sized audiences. In the last couple of years, he’s hosted “Saturday Night Live,” co-starred in Pete Davidson’s semi-autobiographical “The King of Staten Island,” and voiced a turtle sidekick to Adam Sandler’s lizard in the animated “Leo.” Burr is scheduled to bring his comedy to Delta Center, 300 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, on Saturday. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets available at deltacenter.com.

Grace Potter at Eccles

Rock musician Grace Potter is nearly a decade into her solo career, which follows her decade fronting Grace Potter and the Nocturnals — which broke up when she divorced her husband, who was also her drummer. Potter is on tour in support of her 2023 studio album “Mother Road,” which she said was inspired by a trip out West. Potter is scheduled to perform Saturday at Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets available at live-at-the-eccles.com.
