The Utah Department of Cultural & Community Engagement released 20 semifinal designs Thursday as part of the ongoing “More Than A Flag” initiative.
The design review committee has selected the finalists after working with flag artists and is seeking feedback through a SurveyMonkey form on them until Oct. 5.
You can also share with the public what you think by voting in our unofficial poll on the designs. Just pick your favorite below and, if you want, explain why. We’ll share the results on our social media accounts.
sltrib.com is now free to access — no subscription required. We made this decision because we believe access to trustworthy, independent news shouldn’t depend on what you can afford — especially as misinformation and AI-generated content continue to rise.
Free to read doesn’t mean free to produce. Our reporters show up every day to ask hard questions and hold powerful institutions to account. That work takes resources.
