One bite. Everybody in Utah knows the rules now.

Dave Portnoy, the Barstool Sports founder and a new Fox “Big Noon Kickoff” personality, arrived in Salt Lake City this week ahead of Utah football’s top-25 clash with Texas Tech.

But first, Portnoy stopped at a few of the valley’s pizzerias for his viral “One Bite Pizza Reviews.”

Portnoy said on the social media platform X that this would be his first trip to Utah. “I don’t have high hopes for pizza but you never know,” he wrote.

On Thursday, Portnoy tweeted a photo of the Pie Pizzeria next to the University of Utah campus.

He visited Villaggio, which bills itself as “authentic New York pizza” with a “blend of recipes from Naples and Calabria,” on State Street in South Salt Lake.

Portnoy made at least one more stop in Salt Lake, hitting up the twice-weekly pop-up called Secret Pizza Club.
