Runnin’ Utes coach Alex Jensen has his first transfer portal commitment.
Former Farleigh Dickinson guard Terrence Brown announced his move to Utah on Friday afternoon.
Brown spent two seasons with the Knights before entering the portal this offseason. He averaged 20.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in 2024-25, while shooting 44.8% from the field and 29.6% from 3-point range.
The Minneapolis native chose the Runnin’ Utes after hearing from Texas Tech, Texas A&M, TCU and other Power Four institutions in the portal.
Brown’s commitment is the first of Jensen’s tenure as Utah’s head coach.
The Runnin’ Utes are coming off a 16-17 finish to the season, which ended with an 86-84 loss to Butler in the College Basketball Crown.
