In staying consistent with Pac-12, local, and university protocols, the University of Utah athletic department announced Thursday morning that it is now able to permit a limited number of spectators at home athletics events at outdoor venues.

That announcement follows a limited number of family and friends of student-athletes and coaches gaining the ability to attend home events less than two months ago.

Tickets are now on sale for Utah baseball, soccer and softball games, with lacrosse soon to be available. Utes baseball plays at Smith’s Ballpark, while the rest play on campus.

A decision about fan attendance for the Red-White game on April 17 at Rice-Eccles Stadium is still pending.
