Utah Mammoth forward Alex Kerfoot is expected to miss at least two more months due to injury, the team says.
Kerfoot underwent surgery to “repair a core muscle injury,” the Mammoth announced Friday. Kerfoot is set to miss the next 8-10 weeks.
Kerfoot, 31, has yet to play a game this season.
Last season, the Utah forward tallied 11 goals and 17 assists over 81 games. He signed a one-year extension worth $3 million in March.
