Real Salt Lake’s slump in Major League Soccer continued on Saturday with a 2-1 loss to host Orlando City SC.

RSL scored first but gave up two second-half goals to Orlando’s Antoine Griezmann, and the loss extended its MLS winless streak to seven games (four losses and three ties).

The loss left RSL (8-8-4) in eighth place in the Western Conference. Nine teams from each conference will qualify for the postseason, with the eighth- and ninth-place teams meeting in a play-in game.

Orlando (7-11-3) moved into ninth place in the Eastern Conference with the win.

RSL struck first on Saturday with a highlight-reel goal in the 36th minute. Sam Junqua sent a long diagonal pass into the box, and Dominik Marczuk scored on a short one-touch shot for the 1-0 lead.

But Griezmann scored an equalizer in the 53rd minute and added the game-winner in the 81st. On his second goal, Griezmann received a pass in the box, kicked the ball off a defender with his heel, then booted in the decisive shot off the rebound.

Griezmann, who helped France win the 2018 World Cup, joined Orlando City last month after the conclusion of his season with Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

RSL is set to face Mexico’s Club Leon in a Leagues Cup quarterfinal on Tuesday (8:30 p.m., Apple TV) in Commerce City, Colo., before facing the Colorado Rapids in an MLS game in the same stadium next Saturday (7:30 p.m., Apple TV).
