‘How Bout This Jazz’ podcast: All aboard the Utah Jazz rookie Jared Butler hype train or not?

The HBTJ podcast trio also talk what they liked and didn’t like in the Jazz’s first two preseason games.

(Chris Samuels | The Salt Lake Tribune) Guard Jared Butler speaks to media at Utah Jazz media day at Vivint Arena, Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 in Salt Lake City.

The preseason has begun for the Utah Jazz and while these type of games are not meant to be seen as literal previews of the regular season, there have been some things to take away from the team’s first two games.

In the latest episode of the Tribune’s “How Bout This Jazz” podcast, host/moderator Xoel Cardenas and Jazz beat reporters Andy Larsen and Eric Walden talk about the Jazz’s first two preseason games and what’s looked good so far in said games.

The crew also breaks down the impressive showing from Jazz rookie Jared Butler. Can he make an impact sooner than anyone expects or is patience the best virtue for the NCAA national champion from Baylor?

The trio also dives into how watching Jazz games on TV might be a bit complicated, if you don’t have the right TV provider.
