Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic undergoes successful wrist surgery

Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic underwent successful surgery on Tuesday in New York City to repair a ruptured scapholunate ligament in his right wrist.

The procedure was performed by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michelle Carlson at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Bogdanovic injured his wrist at some point early in the season, but continued to play through it, undergoing periodic medical check-ups.

The Jazz said that Bogdanovic “will begin his rehabilitation at the appropriate time and will remain out indefinitely. Further updates will be provided as needed.”

After signing a four-year, $73 million contract with Utah last July, Bogdanovic was having averaging a career-best 20.2 points, while shooting 44.7% from the field and 41.4% from the 3-point line. He was also contributing 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in a career-high 33.1 minutes per game.
