The BYU men’s basketball team, which closed out the nonconference portion of the schedule on Dec. 23, will have to keep waiting to get the West Coast Conference schedule underway. Saturday’s matchup at San Diego has been postponed due to a COVID-19 related concern with the Toreros’ program.

It is the second consecutive game to be postponed for the Cougars.

BYU (9-2) was originally going to start the WCC portion of the schedule on Dec. 31 at Pepperdine, but will now have to wait until Thursday when the Cougars are set to host Pacific at the Marriott Center.
