Utah’s gymnastics schedule, which often is one of the most challenging in the country, is going to get even more difficult. The Utes have announced a home-and-home series against defending national champion Oklahoma and 2019 NCAA runner-up LSU.

Utah hasn’t competed in the regular season against Oklahoma since 1992 and hasn’t faced LSU in the regular season since 2003.

The series with Oklahoma begins in 2021 in Norman, and the teams compete in Salt Lake City in 2022. Utah and LSU will meet in 2022 and 2023, with the first being in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Oklahoma has won three of the last four NCAA titles and LSU has finished as the runner-up in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
