The creators of the YouTube series “Provo’s Most Eligible” are back in a new show: “The Altar.”
The creators say the show “leans into, and pokes fun at, the stereotypes of Provo dating culture in fresh and unexpected ways.”
In the latest crossover episode of the “Mormon Land” and “Mormons in Media” podcasts, hosts Rebbie Brassfield and Nicole Weaver dissect the dating show.
Weaver, who isn’t a Latter-day Saint and has never lived in Provo, can’t seem to figure out why these 21-year-olds are so worried about marriage. But Brassfield, a Provo native and BYU grad, has just the explanation.
