Has The Salt Lake Tribune conducted research to determine if enough readers are interested in its frequent coverage of “real,” “Mormon,” “ex-Mo,” “good,” “bad,” or “secret” wives? If not, allow me to be the first participant in a focus group.

Your dedication of column inches — but it seems like feet at times — to such fluff compromises your credibility as a news organization. At times, “The Mix” section is filled with such near-tabloid fodder.
Consider, instead, directing even more attention to the local intellectual, arts and entertainment scenes, which, I would wager, is of far more interest to those who still read newspapers. Currently, “Salt Lake City Weekly” far outshines you in that area.
