Letter: Let’s call gerrymandering and HB11 what they are: Corruption and hate
(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune)
Conservative activist, Gayle Ruzicka (center), joins a rally in support of HB11 at the Capitol, before the legislative special session to overture Gov. Cox veto on HB11, on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Two topics have received a lot of words here over the past few months, most of them point on. But sometimes it helps to distill what often is an overabundance of supporting rhetoric into the real essence of the issues, which are: (1) Gerrymandering is the most damaging exercise of political corruption, and (2) the legislature’s passing and veto override of HB11 is a hate crime.
