Letter: Pro-law and anti-crime? Then remove Sen. Lee
(Ting Shen | Pool) Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 in Washington.
The just released text messages between Sen. Mike Lee and the White House revealing Lee’s embrace of an illegal and, let’s be honest here, treasonous conspiracy to overturn the fair and lawful 2020 election are beyond damning. Lee’s texts prove beyond any doubt that his pursuit of power is more important to him than his commitment to the rule of law and the Constitution.
If Lee possessed a functioning inner moral compass he would immediately resign; but of course he doesn’t, so he won’t. Utah voters, especially Republicans who claim to be pro-law and anti-crime, must remove him from office at their first opportunity.
