I have traveled through the new airport twice now and I was told this time when I still couldn’t find a cart to transport senior citizens or those with handicaps that the mayor of Salt Lake City prohibited them because they were “not safe.”

Tell me: What is the solution to transport senior citizens or handicapped people if you can’t use carts — especially when terminal B opens up and you have to go farther to get to the gates?

And, no, the minimal moving sidewalks don’t connect enough to decrease the walking significantly.

I am 72 and someday even the mayor is going to be aged. Please, please have more empathy for the handicapped who don’t need a wheelchair but need something better than solo walking and minimal moving sidewalks.
